Tandem paragliding flight in Monfestino

Enjoy a marvellous panorama over theModenese Apennines and admire the Monfestino Castle and the characteristic village surrounded by greenery from above.

Flying in a two-seater paraglider together with an expert instructor you will experience unique emotions: you will be carried away by the ascending wind currents and feel as free as a hawk soaring through the skies.

What we will do

We will meet in Serramazzoni, in the province of Modena. Once we reach the take-off point several hundred metres above sea level, we will hold a briefing on how paragliding works and safety regulations.

Given the particular conformation of the land, this location is particularly suited to paragliding and often hosts competitions between enthusiasts. The landscape on offer is remarkable, with the Monfestino Castle emerging from the green surrounding woods and the imposing Monte Cimone to the south.

To take off, no effort is required: just a few steps will be enough and in a moment we will find ourselves suspended in the air, flying with the wind. Depending on the currents of the day, we will fly from 10 to 20 minutes, ending our descent with a soft landing.

Finally, we will have the opportunity to request videos and photos of the experience (optional).

In total, the activity will last about 1 hour.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is at an easy level and suitable for everyone aged 10 years and above.

To participate, a weight between 40 and 85 kg for women and between 40 and 90 kg for men is required.

Minors must present written and signed parental consent. If consent is not provided, the guide will not allow participation and the activity will not be reimbursed.

Attention! Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the start time of the activity.

It is possible to request a professional video, at a cost of €25 to be paid on site.

The activity takes place from April to October. Depending on weather and wind conditions, times may vary. In this case, you will be informed promptly by the pilot.

Important: paragliding is an activity that is closely linked to weather and wind conditions. If the winds are not favourable, the flight may be postponed to a new date or the flight time may be shorter.

Transport to take-off or recovery on landing will be organised as required by the pilot's or participants' means. There will be no transfer to the meeting point, however, you must be self-drive.

It is forbidden to hold mobile phones and cameras during the flight due to the risk of them falling.
