Tandem skydiving in Recanati

Jump from an aeroplane in flight, experience the thrill of free fall at 200 km/h and then enjoy an open wing flight admiring the world from above as you have never seen it.

A tandem flight is the safest and fastest way to skydive even without any specific preparation: all you need is an introductory briefing, a pinch of courage to jump and that's it... adrenaline is served!

What we will do

We will meet at the flight school in Recanati (MC), where we will be welcomed by pilots and instructors who will immediately put us at ease, giving us all the information we need to carry out the activity safely. We will become familiar with the equipment, all the phases of the flight will be explained to us in detail, and we will learn the correct positions to maintain.

The pre-flight briefing will also serve to break the ice and ease the tension that precedes the jump into the void. We will rely on professionals with thousands of jumps behind them, so don't worry! Having donned thesuit andharness, we will board the plane, which will take us to the launch altitude (around 3,000 m) in about 20 minutes.

At that point the door will open and it will be time to pull out all the courage we have. Firmly attached to the instructor we will count to three and at 'go' we will throw ourselves out of the plane to experience the most mind-blowing adrenalin sensation ever: almost a minute of freefall at 200 mph!

At that speed, the air becomes almost thick and we will feel as if we are leaning against a 'special mattress' (the word of those who have tried it). Then, asthe parachute opens , we will feel a sort of tug and a sharp deceleration and we will continue to fly with open wings for 7-8 minutes. The adrenaline at that point gives way to the thrill of a breathtaking panorama: the view of the sea and the Conero promontory from above will be priceless!

As we descend, we can also take over the controls and try to pilot the parachute, always following the instructor's instructions. The experience ends with a soft landing near the flight school and, as soon as we put our feet on the ground, we can't wait to fly again.

Between preparation time, briefing, ascent to altitude and flight, the activity will last about 1 hour in total.

Who it is aimed at

Tandem parachute jumping is an experience for everyone. No special skills or previous experience are required. To participate, you must be at least 16 years of age, be in good health and have a maximum weight of 100 kg for men and 90 kg for women (including clothing and shoes).

There is no upper age limit, but those over 65 must present a signed authorisation from their doctor (the form will be provided to you after booking).

Those who suffer or have suffered from serious illnesses will have to present a medical certificate of fitness for the activity.

Other information

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting place at least 30 minutes before the launch time.

This activity takes place all year round at weekends and is subject to change, even sudden changes dictated by weather conditions.

Upon arrival at the venue, you will undergo a weight and body mass index (BMI) measurement. We recommend that you calculate your BMI before booking. This value must be no higher than 30 for men and 27.5 for women. If you exceed the limits, you will not be allowed to fly for safety reasons.

The aircraft can carry 3 participants at a time, who will launch in tandem with their instructor 15 seconds apart. If you are a larger group, you will be divided into small groups of 2 or 3 and wait your turn.

It is advisable to book at least two days in advance (one week during the summer) and to consider a half-day commitment for the launch (the activity itself lasts one hour, but can be extended depending on the number of participants and weather conditions).

At the time of booking you will be able to choose whether to purchase the launch with video (filmed by the pilot you will be launching with) or the launch with video and HD photos. You will need to bring a memory card or USB stick to capture the material at the end of the launch.
