As children we dreamed of spending a night in a tent.
This dream is now a reality, with our Tipì tent night! You will fall asleep under the stars inside this special accommodation, immersed in the natural setting of the Bolognese hills, at the gates of the Parco Regionale dei Gessi e dei Calanchi.
And don't forget to choose the option with breakfast, for a sweet awakening!
What we will do
Check-in is from 12 noon at the Pianoro (BO) facility. You will be welcomed by the hosts, Roberto and Maddalena, ready to make your stay in the hills of Bologna unforgettable!
You will stay in the Tipì tent, for a glamping experience in contact with nature.
- Bed: king-size futon bed.
- Bathroom: outside the tent, in a shared gazebo there is a dry toilet, sink, shower and washing machine. Towels and homemade soap will be provided by the host.
- Kitchen: outside the tent, in a shared gazebo equipped with an induction hob, coffee machine, fridge, oven, dishwasher, tea kettle and toaster; you can therefore cook for yourself. There is also a shared barbecue area outside for guests to use. When booking, you can select the"with breakfast" option for a sweet awakening: the picnic basket includes home-made vegetable milk, home-made bread, freshly baked croissants, jam, fruit juice and other goodies.
- Other services: outside there is a tree house and a sandpit for our youngest guests.
- What to do nearby: ane-bike excursion in the centre of Bologna and a horseback ride in the Bolognese hills are just some of the activities that can be booked on Freedome to do in the vicinity of the accommodation, located a few kilometres away from the capital of Emilia-Romagna.
Check-out is required by 12 noon the following day.
Who it is aimed at
Reservations must be made by a person over 18 years of age.
The tent can accommodate 2 adults (from 7 years) or 2 adults (from 7 years) and 1 child (up to 6 years). Reservations that do not meet the participation requirement will not be accepted.
The facility is not accessible to persons with mobility disabilities.
Other information
The Tipì tent stay is available from May to October. In the event of bad weather the stay may be cancelled at the discretion of the host.
Check-in from 12:00 and check-out by 12:00. Please contact the host at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate your arrival time.
Dogs are not allowed.
Options are available for people with food allergies and/or intolerances: contact the host at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any dietary requirements.
There is free parking on site with the possibility of recharging your electric car for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport: from the bus stop there is an uphill walk of about 800 metres, not recommended if you have a suitcase; contact the host at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request a free ride to the bus stop.

If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
