Full description
Enjoy aboat trip to the Zingaro Nature Reserve and immerse yourself in the unspoilt nature that characterises the coastal stretch between San Vito Lo Capo and Castellammare del Golfo.
You will sail in the crystal clear sea, past natural bays, sea caves and Saracen towers, until you reach the characteristic Faraglioni of Scopello.
Get ready to spend four hours in total relaxation, during which you can sunbathe, admire the landscape, dive into the water and then enjoy a delicious aperitif offered by the captain.
What we will do
We depart from the port of San Vito Lo Capo (TP). After a few minutes' sailing we will encounter Torre Sciere, the first of the many Saracen towers we will observe along the way. Immediately afterwards we will see the Tonnara Del Secco, a factory no longer in operation since 1969, but of which the remains of ancient fish-processing facilities are still visible today.
We will then skirt Lake Di Venere, surrounded by rocks, and enter the Zingaro Reserve, one of the very few stretches of coastline in Sicily not contaminated by the presence of a coastal road. Here the spectacle of nature is truly remarkable, with a succession of coves and natural caves.
One of the most striking bays is Cala dell'Uzzo, where we will stop for a 30-minute swim. We will then continue our tour among the coves until we catch sight of the Faraglioni of Scopello and its characteristic tuna fishery. Here, too, we will stop for a swim and, while we swim in the transparent waters, the captain will prepare an aperitif for us to enjoy once we get back on board based on cunzato bread, fruit, water and wine.
The excursion will last four hours and will end with the return to the port of San Vito Lo Capo.

The excursion is open to all, with no age limit. Children up to 3 years of age travel free of charge.
Other information
The activity can be carried out from May to October, subject to weather and sea conditions. The afternoon departure will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 10 participants.
The boat is equipped with a shaded area with seating and sunbathing area, freshwater shower and toilet.
