If your dream has always been to try sailing, anexcursion to the Roman coastline will make it come true!
Starting from the tourist harbour in Rome, you will see the mouth of the Tiber river reaching Fiumicino and you can discover the seaside resorts most popular with tourists (as well as Romans) such as Santa Severa and Santa Marinella or Anzio and Nettuno!
The biggest thrill? Being at the helm of the boat, to spend 4 hours like a real captain!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the marina in Rome. On arrival, we will be greeted by the skipper who, before setting sail, will explain how sails are the boat's engine and how keel and sail trim serve to make the most of the wind!
Once these procedures have been completed, we are ready to set sail and discover the Roman coastline! Leaving the harbour behind, we will be able to admire the Tiber river as it flows through the capital towards the end of its 400 km, arriving at Fiumicino. Depending on the weather and sea conditions, we will sail north to Santa Severa and Santa Marinella, or south to Anzio and Nettuno.
Throughout the excursion we will be able to actively participate in on-board manoeuvres, thus acquiring sailing notions and experiencing the thrill of feeling like captains for a day under the skipper's supervision!
We will finally return to the starting point, and the experience will last approximately 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to all and there are no age limits. However, children under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair and mobility-impaired accessible.
Other information
The experience is available from May to September and is confirmed with a minimum of five participants.
The 11.40-metre Sun Fast 37 is also available for events, birthdays, hen and stag parties. Dogs are not allowed on board.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
