Get ready to experience half a day of pure Mediterranean magic!
Climb aboard a beautiful retro-style sailboat and explore Palermo's coastline like never before: between a refreshing dip and some relaxation in the sun, comfortably enjoy sailing with panoramic views of the Tonnara dell'Arenella and Casa Florio.
Think it's over? Wait until you taste the true flavours of Sicily with a delicious aperitif on board!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Palermo. We will be welcomed by the captain and hostess, who will seat us on board a splendid retro-style sailboat.
Having cast off the moorings, we will start sailing along the Palermo coast towards Mondello. Our first stop will be Vergine Maria, a bathing district north of Palermo characterised by golden sand and turquoise waters in which we will enjoy a 30-minute swim.
Back on board, a delicious aperitif of Sicilian specialities accompanied by water, wine and soft drinks will await us. We will enjoy a unique panoramic view of this corner of Sicily!
We will resume sailing past the historic Tonnara dell'Arenella, Casa Florio and the Grotte della Regina. The captain will tell us stories and curiosities about the Florio family and the attractions we encounter along the way.
We will then return to the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 4 and up; minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
Theboat is a retro-style sailboat 13.80 metres long and 4.5 metres wide. It is equipped with every comfort including a sunbathing area, 2 WCs, a fridge, a kitchen area, a changing cabin, air conditioning and a ladder. Slippers are worn on board. Dogs are allowed on board.
