You know that time you said to yourself 'I should do something different'? Here's your chance.
Set sail from Rodi Garganico (FG) for a day's sailing among the only Italian islands in the Adriatic: the Tremiti! Three square kilometres of rocks, stories and silences to be heard only with the sound of the waves.
In the company of an expert skipper, you will sail around the entire archipelago among wild coves, caves, stacks , and stretches of coastline that seem to have been put there to be landed aboard the SUP or tender you will find on board.
Ah, of coursean aperitif and lunch are included!
What we will do
The appointment is at 08:00 at the meeting point in Rodi Garganico (FG) where we will meet the skipper who will accompany us on this day dedicated to discovering the Tremiti Islands!
We will board the sailing boat SY PRINCESS SOFI and cast off our moorings in a north-easterly direction towards the archipelago. After about two hours of sailing, we will begin our full exploration of the Tremiti Islands by sea: depending on the conditions of the day, we will sail past San Domino, San Nicola or Cretaccio. The one stop that cannot be missed is you: the submerged statue of Padre Pio of Capraia!
Thanks to the SUP board and the tender provided on board, we will be able to reach the most hidden corners of the islands and set foot on land for a short visit among pine forests, caves and rocky vistas.
At 12 noon, we will return on board for an aperitif with local products and drinks. And around 14:00, it will be time for lunch, based on a typical pasta dish. After a final stop for a dip or a paddle, around 16:00 we will begin the return route.
We will finally return to Rodi Garganico between 19:00 and 20:00, for an excursion lasting a total of around 11 hours .
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 2 and up; children under 18 participate accompanied or with signed authorisation.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users or persons with reduced mobility.

The activity takes place from June to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
Attention! The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
Theboat used is the Bavaria Vision 40 SY PRINCESS SOFI, 12.7 m long, equipped with three double cabins, refrigerators, ice machine, sun loungers, dinghy, SUP, fishing rods and bathroom on board. Dogs are not allowed on board.
In case of allergies or intolerances, please inform the organisers in advance. Vegetarian and/or gluten-free alternatives are available on request.
On-site parking spaces are available for a fee; the meeting point can be reached by public transport.
