Discover the wonderful natural paradise and crystal-clear waters of Sperlonga's Grotta Azzurra with a mini-cruise in a typical gozzo boat.
You will discover the Riviera di Ulisse Regional Park, a reserve of great natural interest for the variety of animal and plant species that populate it.
Spend an hour and a half away from the hustle and bustle of the beaches and admire an incredible panorama!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Sperlonga (LT), where the typical gozzo will set sail. Before setting off, we will meet the captain who will accompany us on this mini-cruise to Sperlonga's Blue Grotto!
Along the way, we will admire some of the historical wonders that characterise the Ulysses Riviera Park. These include the remains of the Villa of the Roman emperor Tiberius and theancient Via Flacca, a Roman road dating back to 184 BC that connected the various centres of production.
We can also see the medieval watchtowers and the numerous caves, including the famous Grotta Azzurra, which has many stalactites inside and is surrounded by wonderful blue water.
During the tour there is also a swim stop of about 30 minutes, where we can dive in and don a mask and flippers to admire the inhabitants of these beautiful waters.
We will turn around and return to port after about 1½ hours of sailing.

The boat is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.

The activity takes place from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
Theboat is a gozzo equipped with a canopy. The organiser has several 8 to 10 metre long boats at his disposal which he will use according to availability. On board are illustrated brochures in English describing the main sights to be seen during the excursion.
Theitinerary and duration of the experience may vary depending on weather and sea conditions at the skipper's discretion.
