The quad bike is an exciting vehicle that is perfect for driving on rugged trails and off-road routes in the middle of nature. Try it on an adventurous 3-hour tour in the Iglesias area of Sardinia.
You will drive along a 38-kilometre route, mostly off-road, heading towards the summit of Monte San Giovanni. You will stop at scenic viewpoints to admire the site of an old abandoned mine, in the area between Glesia and Genesia, and take wonderful photos.
It will be an activity that will make you experience wonderful emotions. So, what are you waiting for to book?
What we will do
Theappointment is in Iglesias, in the province of South Sardinia. We will be welcomed by an expert guide who will hand us disposable helmets and under-helmets and explain to us, in a briefing, how the quad bike works and the safety rules to be observed. We will also take a test ride before starting the tour proper.
The first 2 km stretch of road will be on asphalt on the outskirts of Iglesias and the next 36 km will be on a dirt track that climbs to the summit of Mount San Giovanni. Along the way, we will see beautiful scenery and an abandoned mining site.
We will also have the opportunity to make stops at panoramic viewpoints of undoubted charm, which will show us a seemingly endless blue sea, to be immortalised in photos and videos. At the end of the tour we will return to the starting point.
The activity lasts a total of two and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone and the minimum age to participate is 7 years for the passenger. The driver must be of legal age and hold a valid driving licence.
Other information
The tour can be booked from March to November.
It is necessary to arrive at least 15 minutes before the departure time.
It is possible to request a guided tour of the Santa Barbara Cave at a cost of €15 per person (payable locally).
The tour fee is per quad bike, on which a driver and a possible passenger can ride. There are three quads available.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
