Set off from Terracina and enjoy anexclusive half-day excursion on board a typical wooden gozzo!
You will explore the Circeo National Park from the perspective of the sea, admiring the fascinating caves, rich in myths and legends. The skipper will be at your disposal for every need and will allow you to discover the secrets of this stretch of Latium coastline.
You will not be able to resist a dip in the clear, transparent waters before reaching Torre Paola.
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before the time selected during the booking process in Terracina (LT ) on the border with San Felice Circeo (to be precise, the meeting point is 11 km from the port of Terracina and 7 km from the port of San Felice Circeo). Here you will be greeted by the skipper who will set sail once you have settled on board.
While sailing to the ancient Torre Paola, you will encounter some of the many sea caves and fascinating sites included in the Circeo Park. You will be able to admire the Grotta delle Capre, one of the most important prehistoric sites in the area, and the Grotta dell'Impiso with its single stalactite rising in the centre of the cavern. The Grotta del Fossellone, with its large circular opening, will also amaze you with its majesty!
You will pass by the famous Faro di Capo Circeo lighthouse, a structure that rises in the surrounding Mediterranean maquis, and then admire the Batterie di Punta Rossa, a small stretch of coastline framed by a cliff and two natural coves.
You can also dive to discover the lucky inhabitants of these clear waters while wearing a mask. The excursion lasts 4 hours and 15 minutes and ends with the return to the port at the meeting point.

Attention! The meeting point is located halfway between Terracina and San Felice Circeo, approximately 10 to 15 minutes' drive from both destinations.
The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
Theboat is a gozzo equipped with an awning. The organiser has several 8 to 10 metre long boats at his disposal that he will use according to availability. On board are illustrated brochures in English describing the main attractions to be seen during the excursion.
