Tired of the usual walks in the park? Come and take a walk with... birds of prey!
Afew kilometres from Turin , a decidedly out-of-the-ordinary adventure awaits you: a walk in the woods in the company of hawks and buzzards. Get ready to observe the mastery of their free flight among the foliage of the trees and learn how to call them by the glove under the supervision of an expert falconer.
A 4-hour experience that will make you fly to new horizons of knowledge!
What we will do
We will meet in Gassino Torinese (TO), 15 minutes before the time indicated during the reservation.
Here we will meet the falconer who will guide us through this experience: before setting off on our walk, we will take part in a briefing lasting about 1 hour, in which we will discover some notions of falconry and the biology of birds of prey. It will be like entering a fascinating new world, rooted in time!
Afterwards, we will go into the woods surrounding Gassino Torinese in the company of the falconer and his birds of prey. We will observe the free flight of hawks and buzzards among the branches of the trees, with their lightning-fast and surprising speed. During the trek, which will last about 3 hours, the falconer will show us in practice how to interact with birds of prey in the wild and call them to the glove.
Walking through the forest for 4-5 km, we will cross streams, small fords, paths and clearings and discover many interesting facts about the natural environment around us, as well as the animal and plant species that inhabit it.
At the end of the walk we will return to the facility for final greetings. The activity will last 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all persons with good mobility from the age of 8. Minors must be accompanied by a parent, who must be a participant in the activity.
The walk is not practicable by persons with motor disabilities, but on request it is possible to carry out the activity on dedicated days and with an adaptation of the route. Contact us to check the availability of the guide.

The activity takes place all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 5 participants.
There is parking available and it can be reached by public transport.
