Full description
Explore the Brenta Dolomites and spend a fun day of outdoor activities, starting from Andalo (TN) and ascending with snowshoes to the suggestive 'La Montanara' refuge.
In the company of an Alpine Guide, you will walk through dense snow-covered woods where you will be able to walk in complete tranquillity, surrounded by the marvellous winter landscape and the Dolomite peaks.
Enjoy the contact with nature and get away from stress and everyday life for a day!
What we will do
We will meet the mountain guide at 9 :30 am in Andalo (TN). After a short introductory briefing and the handing over of the snowshoes (included), we will be ready to start this fantastic hike.
Snowshoes on our feet, we will walk peacefully off the beaten track and be able to spot the tracks of the animals that populate the fir forests in winter.
At lunchtime, we will arrive at the "La Montanara" refuge where we will be able to recharge our batteries with typical mountain dishes (lunch not included) and admire the splendid panorama of the highest peaks of the Brenta. After which, we will set off again and be back at the starting point around 16:00.
The activity will last a total of approximately 6.5 hours for a distance of 10 km and 500 m of altitude difference.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is of an easy level and is suitable for all people used to walking in the mountains, from 12 years of age upwards.
Other information
The activity takes place from December to March every Wednesday starting at 9:30 a.m., weather permitting.
Lunch at the hut is not included in the participation fee, and those who prefer can have a packed meal.
Dogs may participate in the hike, provided they are on a leash, well-trained and used to walking.
Groups of at least 6 people can do the activity at any other time and/or day of the week, subject to the availability of the guides. Please contact us privately for more information.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
