Gulf of the Poets or Cetacean Route? Educational sailing or complete relaxation? This time, you won't have to choose: you can have it all!
At Marina di Carrara, two days of introductory sailing in the company of a CONI sailing instructor await you, between which you can spend a night on deck, just as if you were a real sea dog.
A2-day adventure to fully immerse yourself in life on board and approach a new discipline!
What we will do
The rendezvous is at10 a.m. at the meeting point in Marina di Carrara (MS), where we will be met by the skipper and CONI sailing instructor, ready to welcome us on board the sailboat.
After the assignment of our cabin and a general briefing, we will be ready to set sail in the direction of the Golfo dei Poeti! We will embark on a sail during which the instructor will explain the basics of sailing: knots, winds, manoeuvres and sails will be the topics of the day!
Towards lunchtime we will stop at the roadstead and finally enjoy a refreshing dip, taking the opportunity to do some snorkelling. During the stop, we will also have plenty of time to enjoy our packed lunch (alternatively, an on-board lunch can be arranged by prior arrangement with the captain).
We will return to Marina di Carrara at approximately 18:00 hours, where we will prepare to spend the night on board.
The following morning, we will wake up at a leisurely pace and have breakfast at the Nautical Club bar or in one of the delicious pastry shops in the centre of Marina di Carrara to be ready to set sail around 10:30 am.
Thesecond day's itinerary will follow the Cetacean Route. During the course of the day, we will have the opportunity to try out the different cruising speeds and go in search of dolphins, between swimming offshore and relaxing on board!
The experience will end with a return to the starting point at around 17:30.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 18.
The boat is not accessible to wheelchairs and persons with reduced mobility.
It is not necessary to know how to swim to participate in this activity, but good aquatic skills are required.

Attention! The programme may be subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions and at the captain's sole discretion.
The experience is available from April to October and is confirmed when the minimum number of 4 participants is reached.
TheDufour 44 Performance sailing boat is 14 metres long and has 3 double cabins, galley, WC, outside shower, hot and cold water. Guests have the aft double cabins and a bathroom for their own use.
On board the boat one remains barefoot or with one's own white rubber-soled shoes, if any. Dogs are not allowed on board.
Meals are not included. Upon request, it is possible to book lunch at a typical trattoria on Palmaria Island, or organise a light lunch with local wine tasting on board: contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail for more information.
There is a car park on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
