Full description
Sicily encased in a glass of wine and a board of local delicacies.
This is what awaits you at Caruso & Minini, a winery in the heart of Marsala. A sommelier guide will accompany you on anexploration of the baglio and the cellar, followed by a toast with two glasses of house wine.
A1-hour experience, discovering Sicily in (and with) all the senses!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Caruso & Minini winery in Marsala (TP). We will be welcomed by a sommelier guide who will accompany us on a discovery of this Sicilian winery!
Once all the participants have gathered, the experience will begin with a visit to the baglio, historic Sicilian architecture: the guide will not fail to explain its past use and contemporary adaptation. This will be followed by a visit to the wine cellar: we will explore the production rooms , from the ageing phase to bottling, and the barrique cellar , which will be admired from behind glass to preserve the temperature inside. This moment will last 30 minutes.
We will then take a seat in the tasting room, indoors or outdoors, to savour what we learnt during the visit. We will taste two glasses of wine from a choice of over 20 house labels, following the advice of the sommelier guide who will guide us in our decision according to our personal taste. The glasses will be accompanied by a rich platter of Sicilian delicacies: black bread seasoned with Trapanese pesto, formaggella with basil, paninetto cunzato, pizza rianata, cappiddruzzo and other specialities from a local bakery.
The experience will last a total of 1 hour.

The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Accompanying persons such as astemics and pregnant women will be served a board of Sicilian delicacies accompanied by water or soft drink.
Children are offered a small platter with Sicilian rotisserie products, chips and fruit juice at a cost of €10.00 per person. This option can be selected directly at the time of booking.
The facility is accessible by wheelchair or pram.

The experience takes place from March to November and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
There are no options available for people with allergies and/or food intolerances.
Small dogs on a leash are allowed on the premises and must be held during the winery visit.
There is free parking in the vicinity of the meeting point. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
