The best end to the day? A horseback ride at sunset, followed by a barbecue with friends!
Take part in our excursion to Campagnano di Roma: together with an equestrian guide, you will venture into the natural setting of the Veio Regional Park, immersing yourself in nature at a short distance from the capital.
A3-hour experience, starting in the saddle and ending with your legs under the table!
What we will do
The appointment is at 18:00 at the meeting point in Campagnano di Roma (RM). We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure at sunset!
Once all the participants have gathered, we will meet the horses and proceed to saddle up. The guide will not fail to explain the basics of horse riding and provide us with all the information we need for a carefree experience.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will venture into the Veio Regional Park, a protected natural area in the province of Rome, riding in open countryside and entering a grove. Along the way we will meet the friendly cows of a nearby farm and horses in the wild. This unexpected natural setting has served as the backdrop for numerous films, including'Il Marchese del Grillo' with the iconic Alberto Sordi!
We will finally return to the meeting point where we will find a table laid out for our barbecue: the menu includes an appetiser followed by a variety of grilled meats with side dishes and accompanying water. Drinks are not included. To end the day eating (and toasting) in company!
The horseback ride will last 1 hour and 45 minutes; the total experience will last 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 12 and up; children under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate in the activity.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for first-time horse riders.

The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport but a free shuttle service is available from Campagnano Romano and a paid shuttle service is available from Rome at a cost of €50.00 each way: contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to request this service.
Drinks consumed during the barbecue are excluded from the fee.
