Imagine tasting the olive oil that won the World Olive Oil Competition.
That's exactly what you will do when you participate in our horseback ride with oil tasting! In the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride through the hills of Florence among vineyards and olive groves. You will reach the prize-winning agriturismo for a visit to the oil mill and tasting of typical Tuscan products.
An exclusive 4-hour experience, discovering Tuscany in (and with) all the senses!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the agreed meeting point. If you have not requested the transfer service, you will meet your guide at the riding school in the province of Florence; if you have requested the transfer service, you will meet your guide in the centre of Florence and then reach the riding school.
Once at the riding school and having received your equipment, you will mount the saddle and learn the basics of horse riding. The guide will not fail to provide you with all the information you need for a carefree experience. This first moment will last approximately 10 minutes.
And then this exclusive horseback ride, reserved for you and your group, can begin. You will ride through the hills framing Florence, dotted with vineyards and olive groves, in the company of a dedicated equestrian guide. The horseback ride will last about 1 hour.
On your return to the stables, by your own vehicle or using the transfer service, you will reach a historic oil mill winner of the 'World Olive Oil Competition'. Here a guided tour of the mill will take place, discovering the world of olives and oil. This will be followed by an olive oil tasting accompanied by a platter of local products and a glass of house wine. A toast immersed in the postcard-perfect scenery of the Tuscan countryside! The experience in the oil mill will last about 1.5 hours.
If a transfer service is requested, you will finally return to the meeting point in the centre of Florence. The exclusive experience will last about 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 may participate unaccompanied.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round. The experience may also be held in the event of rain at the guide's discretion; waterproof coats will be provided.
It is possible to leave from the centre of Florence by taking advantage of the transfer service for a fee or go directly to the riding school located in the province of Florence. Contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request the transfer service from the centre of Florence or ask for the address of the riding school in the province of Florence. The riding school has free parking and cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
