Double Adrenaline rafting in Valtellina

Double the dose of adrenaline and excitement with a double rafting descent on the most impetuous stretch of the Adda river and get ready to face grade II, III and IV rapids twice.

This activity is designed for those who never get tired, for those who can't get enough of challenges and fun, for those who want to feel like a true rafting champion and push themselves to the edge of their limits... to successfully overcome them!

What we will do

We will meet at the rafting centre in Castione di Andevenno, in the province of Sondrio. Having got to know the instructors and donned ourequipment, we will move by shuttle to the boarding point for our double rafting descent.

Before boarding the raft, we will have a briefing on the techniques to be used and safety rules. After that, fully loaded, we will set off for the most impetuous stretch of the Adda!

The first descent will be a kind of warm-up, where we will take the measure of the environment and the type of difficulty to be faced. We will not only encounter rapids, but obstacles of various kinds, rocks, ditches and stretches where the current can change suddenly and unpredictably.

Once the first ride is over, we will get off the dinghy to reshuffle the crew and carry out a new briefing on the advanced manoeuvres to be put into practice on the second descent. And then it's off to the water for a new and exciting 'river of fun'!

The activity lasts a total of 2. 5 hours, of which about 1.5 hours in the water, and ends with the return to the rafting centre, where we can use the changing rooms and hot showers.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is at an advanced level and is open to athletes aged 18 and over. You do not need to be an experienced swimmer, but you do need to have good self-control in the water and good physical fitness. It is advisable to have had previous rafting experience.

Other information

Attention. Please arrive approximately 45 minutes before the start time of the activity.

This activity can be booked from May to July on the dates indicated in the calendar, weather permitting. Due to the particularly intense nature of the descent, it is only possible under certain hydrometric conditions. In the event of less than ideal conditions, the instructors may decide to modify the route or reschedule the activity.

The activity is confirmed on reaching a minimum of 4 participants.

On request, it is possible to combine the activity with a wine tasting in a local winery at a cost of €25 per person (payable locally).

The shuttle service is available for a maximum of 15 participants. Larger groups will have to provide their own transport.
