Ischia: the jewel in the crown of the Gulf of Naples!
Don't miss the opportunity to discover all the stories and legends surrounding it on an unmissable full-day boat tour departing from Forio.
You will make 5 stops for a dip in the sea and, during each of these, you will taste the goodness of the local products that will be served to you. What are you waiting for! A lot of relaxation and fun awaits you!
What we will do
We will meet in Forio, 30 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
From here, we will board our boat and begin a classic tour of Ischia that will include 5 bathroom stops of about 40 minutes each. Each stop will be accompanied by light refreshments and explanations about the places visited.
We will head in the direction of Baia di Citara, a splendid beach with transparent sea that lies near the island's largest thermal park: the Poseidon Gardens. Here we will make an initial stop to admire the panorama, take a dip and enjoy a welcome drink (included) of prosecco and snacks.
Navigation will then resume towards Sant'Angelo, an ancient fishing village and the destination of the second stop. Here, too, there will be refreshments with bruschetta (included). The third stop will be at Sgarrupata, a magical place on the island with a very high coastline overhanging the sea. Between a dip and a swim, we will enjoy our lunch (included), which will consist of a fish or vegetarian starter and mussel soup.
Afterwards, we will make our way to the Castello Aragonese, an ancient fortress in the eastern part of Ischia, connected to the mainland by a long masonry bridge. The fourth stop will also feature a small refreshment with seasonal fruit (included).
The Baia di Varulo, also known as the 'Spiaggia delle Monache', will be our fifth and final stop: this corner of nature that can only be reached by sea will be the perfect setting for a coffee and bitter (included) to be enjoyed before returning, which will take place after a 7-hour tour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Children from 0 to 3 years old do not pay: please inform the organisers of their presence via the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
Of the boats used for the tour, only the motorship Jolly is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility. Please contact the organisers using the contact details in your booking confirmation email to request the use of this boat.
Other information
The tour takes place daily from April to October with a minimum number of 10 participants.
The boats used for the tour are motorboats equipped with a toilet, freshwater shower, sundeck and shaded area, of different capacities and types:
- 17.15 m motor vessel Jolly for up to 40 persons
- wooden liner of 9.90 m 20 passengers
The choice of boat is at the organisers' discretion, depending on availability and the size of the group.
The itinerary may vary depending on sea weather conditions and traffic at sea.
In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please notify at least 1 day in advance to the contacts indicated in your booking confirmation email. Please note: the organiser does not guarantee the non-contamination of food.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport or by car, with paid parking nearby.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
