Why are Cancellation Policies needed?

Freedome is an intermediary between clients and asset managers (our Partners). When you book through Freedome, you are actually booking directly with the Partner, which is exactly what we want because it is through them that you can find the best activities and the most professional services, they are the real experts!

On the other hand, just as we are responsible to you for selecting the best activities, we are also responsible to Partners for whom last-minute cancellations can result in significant losses.

Therefore, in each listing you will see one of the Cancellation Policies shown below that will be applied if you decide to cancel an already confirmed activity.

Cancellation Policy:

Last minute cancellation

  • Cancellation up to 24 hours before activity start time: 100% refund.
  • Cancellation within 24 hours prior to activity start time: no refund.

Very flexible cancellation

  • Cancellation up to 48 hours before activity start time: 100% refund.
  • Cancellation within 48 hours prior to activity start time: no refund

Flexible cancellation

  • Cancellation within 5 days before activity start date: 100% refund.
  • Cancellation between 4 and 3 days before the activity start date: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation from 2 days before activity start date: no refund.

Moderate cancellation

  • Cancellation within 8 days before activity start date: 100% refund.
  • Cancellation between 7 and 5 days before the activity start date: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation from 4 days before activity start date: no refund.

Strict cancellation

  • Cancellation within 15 days before activity start date: 100% refund.
  • Cancellation between 14 and 8 days before the activity start date: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation from 7 days before activity start date: no refund.

Very strict cancellation

  • Cancellation within 31 days before activity start date: 100% refund.
  • Cancellation between 30 and 15 days before the activity start date: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation from 14 days before activity start date: no refund.

How to request the cancellation of a reservation

If you have booked an activity and you wish to cancel your reservation, all you have to do is access your personal area, on the page “My Reservations” and click on the button next to the reservation you wish to cancel. The request will be taken over by the Freedome staff who will make sure to proceed with the deletion Within 24 hours.

In case the reservation request has not yet been confirmed (see how it works for more details) the order and pre-authorization to payment will be canceled and you will not be charged.

If, on the other hand, the reservation has been confirmed, we will apply the cancellation policies related to the activity in question and proceed with the refund, if due. Cancellation policies and any refund will be calculated according to the time you make the cancellation request.

Cancellation by the Partner

If circumstances arise that make the activity unsafe or impractical, such as particularly severe weather conditions, the Partner may decide to cancel the activity. Since it is not always possible to predict these events in advance, cancellation could occur at any time.

In this case, of course, you will be refunded the full amount paid for the activity. Refunds will be made within 24 hours of notification of cancellation.

In addition, the Partner may propose an alternative date/time for you. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If not, we will personally arrange for a full refund!

Gift Voucher

If you wish to change the date or time you have chosen to conduct an activity agreed upon as a result of purchasing a gift voucher, you must email the Partner organizing the activity within the timeframe set forth in the Cancellation Policies pertaining to the activity in question and shown below:

Last minute cancellation

  • It is possible to request a variation of the chosen day and time up to 24 hours before the agreed date for holding the activity.

Very flexible cancellation

  • It is possible to request the variation of the chosen day and time up to 48 hours before the agreed date for holding the activity.

Flexible cancellation

  • It is possible to request a variation of the chosen day and time within 5 days of the agreed date for holding the activity.

Moderate cancellation

  • It is possible to request a variation of the chosen day and time within 8 days of the agreed date for holding the activity.

Strict cancellation

  • It is possible to request a variation of the chosen day and time within 15 days of the agreed date for the activity to take place.

Very strict cancellation

  • It is possible to request a change in the chosen day and time within 31 days of the agreed date for the activity to take place.
