Looking for an out-of-the-ordinary idea to combat routine? This experience in the Chianti Aretino is perfect for you!
You will stay in a comfortable and spacious flat and take part in a tasting of 3 glasses of wine. You will also walk between the rows of a vineyard and visit the cellar where the various wine-making processes take place.
At the end of the experience, you will never want to leave this magnificent corner of Tuscany!
What we will do
The appointment is at the flat in Cavriglia (AR), where you can check in from 15: 00. On arrival, you will be welcomed and taken to your flat, located within a magnificent property.
You will stay in an accommodation with a double bedroom, a living area with kitchenette and a private bathroom with shower. In addition, bed linen and towels, heating, hairdryer, electric kettle, coffee maker and Wi-Fi are provided.
In the evening, you can relax and let the owner recommend one of the typical restaurants in the area. Or, if you prefer, you can make use of the flat's kitchen. The following day you can have breakfast with the contents of the breakfast box (included) that you will be given on arrival: coffee, tea, juice, milk, bread, butter, home-made jam, biscuits, yoghurt.
The wine tasting with a visit to the cellar (included) can take place either immediately after arrival or shortly before departure. The experience will begin with a walk through the vineyard, where you will discover the history of the San Jacopo Estate and the family that lives there. Then you will continue with a visit to the winery, passing through the production room and the barrique cellar, where the tasting will take place: 3 glasses of the house (white, rosé or red according to availability) accompanied by dry baked goods.
It will be an unforgettable journey through the fragrances, flavours and beautiful landscapes of Tuscany!

The facility is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.

The experience is available all year round. Check-in will be possible from 15: 00 while check-out must be done no later than 10: 30. Breakfast will be left in the flat in the form of a breakfast box.
If you have any food allergies and/or intolerances or would like a savoury breakfast, please contact the organiser at the contact details you will receive after confirmation of your booking to let them know in advance.
The wine tasting is not a private activity; it may be shared with other participants.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; there is a free car park and electric cars can be recharged.
Dogs are allowed on payment of a 20 euro surcharge on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
