Whoever said that history is boring has never taken part in this electric motorbike tour of Alto Varesotto!
Hop in the saddle and set off on a 2½-hour itinerary that will take you to discover the history of the area and allow you to visit some First World War fortifications!
Enjoy the freedom of whizzing around on your motorbike and let yourself be fascinated by the curiosities that the guides will tell you. Fun is guaranteed!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Mesenzana (VA), where our guides will be waiting for us. After wearing the necessary helmet and protections, we will have a briefing of about 15 minutes to learn how to ride the electric motorbike. Once familiar with the vehicle, we will be ready to set off on our adventure!
Climbing into the saddle, we will take a military road that climbs Mount San Michele. We will plunge into enchanting forests and visit the fortifications of the Cadorna Line, a complex of defence works to protect the Po Valley that was built during the First World War. During the visit, the guides will be at our side and will tell us some curiosities about the history of the area.
As we ride along theoff-road route, every 30 minutes or so we will stop for a few minutes to rest and improve our driving technique. Finally, we will reach the summit of Monte San Michele and enjoy a moment of refreshment at a local bar.
Finally, we will return to our starting point, happy and with some adrenalin still in our bodies.
The activity will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 14. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 may participate by presenting a waiver signed by a responsible adult and accompanied by a copy of the latter's ID.
To participate, you must beat least 1.50 m tall and weigh a maximum of 120 kg. In addition, you must have a B licence, an AM licence or a foreign equivalent.
Other information
The activity is available all year round and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The vehicles used during the tour are electric motorbikes of the SWM BINSEN model. These mopeds are environmentally friendly, are not noisy, do not require gears or a clutch, and are suitable for everyone. Each motorbike can carry a single participant.
Participants will only be held liable for any damage caused to the vehicles if they have not followed the guide's instructions during the course of the experience.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport , but free parking spaces are available nearby.
