Discover hidden Calabria ! Climb aboard a buggy and enjoy driving this vehicle through unspoilt nature just a few steps from Lamezia Terme.
The 3-hour tour will take you from Decollatura up to the slopes of Mount Reventino, among panoramic views, pine forests to explore and ancient stone monoliths, to which the legends of these mountains are linked.
A full immersion in nature to end on a high note with a final aperitif.
What we will do
The meeting point is Decollatura (CZ), 15 minutes before the time chosen at the time of booking.
Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by the guide and have a short briefing, in which the characteristics of the buggy and the correct way to drive it will be explained to us. This 4-wheel vehicle is very easy to drive, handles like a motorbike and is as safe as an off-road vehicle, perfect for off-road routes.
Our tour will start in Decollatura, a small town that has grown out of the union of scattered rural settlements. Driving the buggy we will climb up the slopes of the Reventino mountain, stopping along the way at a vantage point from which we will be able to admire the sea, and towards the Sila Piccola.
About halfway along the route we will make a 10-minute stop at Pietra di Fota, a 20-metre high monolithic rock, hidden among the trees at an altitude of over 1,000 m, to which some local stories and legends are linked.
Our circular route of about 50 km will take us through a pine forest and small streams, on a 90% dirt road surface. At the end of the tour we will return to Decollatura, where we will conclude the excursion with an aperitif in a local restaurant. A glass of wine, some bruschetta and lots of laughter to relive the emotions of driving together!
The experience will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone, from 5 years of age for passengers.
To drive the buggy you must be at least 16 years old and have an A1, B1 or B driving licence. Minors with a driving licence can participate on their own, without a parent present.

The excursion is available all year round, every day.
The price quoted is per buggy: you can book for 1 driver (single buggy) or for 1 driver and 1 passenger (double buggy). The centre has 4 buggies, for a maximum of 8 participants.
Driver and passenger can swap driving at any point on the route, as long as they both have a licence. Overtaking or reckless manoeuvres are forbidden: should irresponsible behaviour on the part of drivers occur, the guide is entitled to interrupt the excursion.
In the event of food allergies or intolerances, please inform the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
Dogs can participate in this experience, but please note that the hike involves a rather rough off-road route.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport from Lamezia Terme. There is a car park on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
