In San Baronto, a small, picturesque village nestled in the Montalbano hills, a family-run 3-star hotel awaits you, where you can treat yourself to a 1- or 2-night break, with a buffet breakfast and a 4-course dinner included.

The perfect place to forget about the daily grind – at least for a while!

What we will do

Check-in is from 2. 30 pm to 7. 00 pm at the hotel in San Baronto, a hamlet of Lamporecchio (PT).

On arrival, you’ll be welcomed by the hotel staff and can settle into your double room with a balcony, complete with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, wooden flooring and free Wi-Fi.

From here on, it’s all about relaxation. You can make the most of the hotel’s facilities, including a large garden and the outdoor swimming pool with a hot tub and sunbathing area, open approximately from May to the end of September.

In the evening, the hotel restaurant awaits you, where you can enjoy a four-course dinner comprising a starter, a first course, a main course with a side dish and a dessert (drinks not included) . The cuisine focuses on simplicity and authenticity, with a particular emphasis on local and organic produce.

In the morning, you’ll start the day with a generous sweet and savoury buffet breakfast: you’ll find bread and baked goods, jams, cereals, yoghurt, fruit, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, local specialities and hot dishes, accompanied by coffee, tea, hot chocolate and fruit juices.

When booking, you can choose between two accommodation options:

• 1 night: accommodation in a double room with a balcony, 1 buffet breakfast and 1 four-course dinner
• 2 nights: 2 nights’ accommodation in a double room with a balcony, 2 buffet breakfasts and 2 four-course dinners; plus, you’ll receive 2 complimentary bottles of local wine

During your stay, you can simply relax at the hotel or take the opportunity to explore the surrounding area. Vinci, Leonardo’s birthplace, is less than 10 km away, whilst Pistoia and Montecatini Terme are about 15–20 minutes’ drive away. The Montalbano hills also offer footpaths and trails for those wishing to go for a walk surrounded by greenery.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is designed for two adults of legal age.

Children aged 3 and over pay the same rate as adults. The property does not have cots, but can provide bed guards on request.

The hotel is situated in a historic building without a lift and is not accessible to wheelchair users.

Accommodation is available from March to November. Check-in is between 2. 30 pm and 7. 00 pm, and check-out is by 11. 00 am.

The outdoor swimming pool is open approximately from May to the end of September, subject to weather conditions and the property’s regulations.

A tourist tax of €2 per person is payable on site.

Vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options are available for dinner. Breakfast also includes vegetarian and gluten-free options. If you have any allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements, please contact the property using the details provided in your booking confirmation email.

Pets are allowed, subject to a supplement of €10 per day per pet, regardless of size.

The property is also accessible by public transport. Free public parking is available opposite the hotel. Alternatively, subject to availability, you can book the hotel’s private car park for €5 per day, which is also equipped with charging points for electric vehicles.
