Full description
Being a passenger has never been so much fun! On this 4x4 tour you can relax in a Jeep and admire the view as a guide leads you through the trails of the Sicani Mountains to the magnificent Theatre of Andromeda.
Set off from the province of Agrigento and stop off at some of the area's most picturesque spots for a day of fun, which will include a delicious lunch of typical Sicilian products.

What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Cammarata (AG), where our guide will be waiting for us. After an initial welcome, we will get into the Jeep and head towards the old town, where we will stop for a few minutes at a viewpoint.
We will then venture along the mountain paths, ascending to an altitude of 1400 m, where we will stop for about 10 minutes to admire another splendid view of Sicily. Back in the Jeep, we will proceed to theHermitage of Santa Rosalia, where the saint is said to have lived for several years. During the opening days, it will also be possible to visit the interior. Otherwise, we will only visit the exterior.
After the tour, we will move on to the Sicani Mountains until we reach the famous Andromeda Theatre, a theatre that reproduces the arrangement of the stars of the constellation of the same name, built by Lorenzo Reina. We will visit it for about 40 minutes in the company of the guides who look after the site daily and we will be fascinated by its history.
At the end of the visit, we will stop for about an hour and a half at a nearby restaurant for lunch (included), which will include a selection of starters (pane cunzato, ricotta cheese, olives, artichokes, tripe, farmhouse cheese), two first courses with seasonal products, a second course of meat, dessert, coffee and bitter.
Happy and with a full belly, we will take the Jeep back and conclude our tour with a stop of about 15 minutes at the historic centre of Cammarata. Just enough time for a few photographs and it will be time to return to the starting point!
The activity will last a total of 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 3 and up. Children under the age of 6 participate free of charge: to notify their presence, please contact the organisers at the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail. Children under 18 can participate if accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women and people in wheelchairs or with walking difficulties.
Other information
The activity is available from March to November and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. There is ample parking on site.
The activity will take place in a Jeep. Three Jeeps are available, for a total of 9 participants (excluding drivers). It is possible to request a child seat (included), suitable for up to 7 years of age. To do so, please contact the organisers in advance at the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail.
Entrance to the Hermitage of Santa Rosalia is only possible during opening days. On all other days, only the exterior will be visited.
The experience includes lunch at the restaurant (included). In the event of allergies and intolerances, it will be possible to request an alternative in advance via the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation e-mail.
Dogs are allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
