The 4x4 excursion to the Biderosa Nature Reserve and Capo Comino, in the Gulf of Orosei, is ideal for anyone wishing to explore this stunning area, taking in the lush green of the woods and the deep blue of the sea.
In a single day, you can explore the protected nature reserve – 860 hectares of woodland and Mediterranean scrub overlooking an emerald sea – from the comfort of a 4x4. Here, you can enjoy rejuvenating activities in the heart of nature, such as birdwatching.
What’s more, you can admire unique views and beaches, such as Capo Comino, characterised by dunes of the finest sand and an emerald sea. Don’t miss these natural masterpieces – come with us on a 4x4 adventure!
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the scheduled time in Orosei (NU). Here we’ll meet the guide and, after a briefing on the route, we’ll climb aboard our 4×4 off-road vehicle.
Our first stop will be the Biderosa Nature Reserve, a protected area comprising woodland and Mediterranean scrub, framed by beaches of pure white sand overlooking an emerald sea. Travelling through the spectacular pine forest, we’ll reach the Sa Curcurica Pond, a veritable treasure trove of biodiversity, perfect for those keen to try their hand at birdwatching.
After a break to enjoy our packed lunch (not included; please bring your own from home) , we’ll head south, still in our 4×4, to the Capo Comino lighthouse. A truly breathtaking panoramic view awaits us there.
We’ll then continue to Capo Comino beach, famous for its tall dunes covered in juniper and other Mediterranean plants, crystal-clear waters and distinctive rocky outcrops. The natural beauty of Capo Comino is complemented by the sight of Ruja Island (Isola Rossa) , a small islet of red porphyry that can be reached by swimming (or on foot, depending on the tide) .
Finally, after one last dip in these crystal-clear waters, we’ll return to the starting point by 4x4, after an excursion lasting around 8 hours.

The activity can be booked all year round and is confirmed once a minimum of 6 participants has been reached.
The off-road vehicles seat 8 people plus the driver. Child seats are also available (to request these, please call the guide using the contact details provided with your booking confirmation) .
Dogs are not permitted on board.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
