In Lison di Portogruaro, Villa Bogdano 1880 opens its doors to you for an exclusive adventure: an exciting 4x4 tour through centuries-old vineyards and a medieval woodland.
On your return, you’ll enjoy a refined tasting in one of the halls of the Venetian palace, featuring five glasses of organic wine and handmade breadsticks.
What we will do
Please arrive 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Lison di Portogruaro (VE), at Villa Bogdano 1880, a historic Venetian mansion. We will be welcomed by the estate’s guide , who will introduce us to the history of the villa and the winery’s winemaking practices; the estate produces organic wines exclusively from its own grapes.
We’ll head up to the panoramic terrace, 20 metres above ground level, from where we’ll enjoy a sweeping view of the estate’s vineyards and woodland: the perfect spot to discover the landscape between the Alps and the Adriatic.
Afterwards, we’ll board a 4x4 for a tour lasting around one hour through the centuries-old vineyards and the medieval woodland – a site within the Natura 2000 network – passing by Ca’ Zabeo, a historic building and 17th-century residence.
Back at the estate, we’ll visit the cellar with its historic concrete vats and round off the tour with a guided tasting of five wines, including wines from vines over 80 years old, accompanied by handmade breadsticks.
The experience will last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes in total.
Who it is aimed at
The wine tasting is for adults only. Any accompanying minors may take part in the experience free of charge.
This experience is not wheelchair accessible.

The experience runs all year round and is confirmed provided there is a minimum of 2 people. Tours are exclusively private, with a maximum of 4 participants per tour.

Small dogs are permitted during the experience.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport, but you can request a shuttle service from Lison railway station by contacting the venue once your booking has been confirmed.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
