3-hour quad bike adventure in the Nebrodi Park with tasting

The perfect recipe for an explosive excursion? A quad bike, a pinch of wild spirit and the nature of the Nebrodi Park.

In the company of a guide, you will follow hidden paths through forests and old mills for about three hours, cross rivers and reach panoramic viewpoints where even the wind turbines seem to stop and look atEtna on the horizon.

And just when you think that nothing can top what you have just experienced... the tasting will arrive: cold meats, cheeses, black truffles and artisanal pestos for a finale with a bang!

What we will do

The appointment is 10 minutes before 15:00 at the meeting point in Santa Domenica Vittoria (ME). We will be welcomed by the local guide, ready to explain the operation of the quads and provide us with all the information we need to tackle the route safely.

Ready, set, go! Right from the start, we will ride on the off-road trails of the Nebrodi Park, following the Passo dell'Olmo path. We will stop near an old watermill, where we will begin to breathe in the magic of this still little-travelled area.

We will then cross the Favoscuro river, a tributary of the Alcantara, before entering the heart of the forest. The second stop will be at the Uvillano refuge, where we can refresh ourselves with water from a spring and take a few photos.

We will ascend again to reach a panoramic path dotted with wind turbines, which will give us a view of Etna. If we are lucky, in the winter months we will even be able to admire its snow-capped summit! We will finally arrive near two small artificial lakes, and on the way we will see grazing cows and local animals.

Following an alternative path, we will descend the mountain again and finally return to our starting point. It is here that the real finale of the experience awaits us: a tasting of typical products from the local farm based on cured meats, cheeses, Sicilian black truffle pesto, and dried fruit creams and pestos (pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts).

Thequad bike excursion will last about2½ hours , and the activity will last a total of 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence. The passenger must be at least 6 years old.

The experience is of an easy level and also suitable for a first time quad rider.

Other information

The excursion is available all year round.

During the tour, driver and passenger can swap driving, as long as both meet the requirements.

The organiser has 4 CF Moto 450 quads capable of carrying up to 2 persons, for a maximum of 8 participants.
