Adventure and taste are the ingredients of this quad bike excursion!
Which are added to the typical products that are the protagonists of our lunch at the refuge. This is what awaits you halfway along the route, in the heart of the Pollino National Park: in the company of a guide, you will venture along an exciting route through the Argentino River Nature Reserve and along the banks of the Lao River.

What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Scalea (CS). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this adventure on four wheels!
Having gathered the participants, a briefing will take place during which the guide will explain how to drive the quad bike and provide all useful information for the experience. This will be followed by a test ride on the property, to get familiar with the vehicle.
And here we are ready for our quad bike excursion: we will start from an asphalt road that will take us into the Argentino River Nature Reserve, where we will make a brief stop. Next stop will be the characteristic village of Orsomarso, where we will make a second short stop in the historic centre.
From here we will venture on a dirt road into the Pollino National Park, fording a river. This will be the start of the most exciting part of the excursion, which is completely off-road: we will drive along the edge of the raging Lao river, enjoying ourselves on trails that will put us to the test!
We will finally return to the meeting point, having covered a total of around 28 km. The quad bike excursion will last 4 ½ hours, lunch break included; the total experience will last 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence. The passenger must be at least 7 years old.
A maximum weight of 200 kg per pair is required to participate in the activity.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for a first time quad rider.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 3 booked quads.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
The price includes quad bike tour and lunch, for 1 driver or 1 driver + 1 passenger (2 persons). Driver and passenger, if both have a B licence, can swap driving during the tour.
Please note that there are no options available for people with allergies and/or food intolerances.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 0 days from the activity start date. Within 0 and 0 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
