After this experience you will be able to say that you drove a'Mercedes with wings'.
This is the friendly nickname our pilot has given to his general aviation aircraft, the star of the experience. Together, you will fly for about 30 minutes over Riposto and Taormina while learning the basics of aviation.
Get ready to take over the dual controls and fly the aircraft!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Calatabiano (CT). You will be welcomed by me, a pilot and flight instructor on this day.
Upon your arrival, I will not fail to introduce you to my general aviation aircraft, which has three passenger seats. It is a comfortable aircraft, equipped with heating; you will be able to say that you have driven a'Mercedes with wings'!
This will be followed by a briefing during which I will provide you with all the information you need to enjoy this experience without any worries. We will then board the aircraft, ready for take-off: during the approximately 30-minute flight, we will fly over the nearby towns of Riposto and Taormina. In the meantime I will give a real flying lesson, teaching you the basics of aviation. And thanks to the dual controls, you will be able to try piloting the plane!
Finally, we will return to the meeting point, where I will hold a debriefing on the activity. The experience will last about 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 16 years of age; unaccompanied minors under 18 years of age must have an authorisation signed by an adult. There is no age limit for passengers; children between 0 and 2 years of age participate free of charge in the arms of an adult but must report their presence on board by contacting the pilot at the references indicated in the booking confirmation e-mail.

Other information
Caution! Flying by plane is an activity that is strictly dependent on weather conditions. The pilot will contact you 48 or 24 hours before the time of the experience to communicate feasibility and possible flight time after checking the weather report.
The experience is available from January to December.
The flight baptism is individual: this means that 1 participant can handle the dual control and try to fly the aircraft; the other participants will take part as passengers.
Dogs in carriers can take part in the experience; small dogs being held by their owner participate free of charge, while medium-large dogs occupying a seat on board pay the cost of one participating person.
