Pilot for a day in Dovera (Cremona)

Have you always dreamt of flying a plane but never tried to approach a flight school?

Is there something about flying that fascinates you, that calls to you, you feel an attraction to this concept of art but you have always thought that 'tomorrow' you will try it?

That tomorrow is today!

Come to JFK Airfield in Dovera, we have something special in mind for you!

Just like a student pilot at the flight school on his first lesson, after a 30-minute theoretical briefing, you will take off alongside an experienced instructor in a dual-controlled aircraft and perform all the phases of a flight: taxiing, radio calls, take-off and turns!

Under the instructor's supervision, you will be at the controls of an aircraft for 30 minutes and will fly in all directions, fly over the landscapes of Lombardy, learn to perform textbook turns and land!

Fun and adrenaline are guaranteed and the experience takes place in total safety. You can repeat the experience whenever you want or you can take the flight courses starting today!

This experience is valid as the first lesson of the flight course for the V.D.S. certificate; those who decide to enrol in the flight course will be given the lesson as the first lesson of the course.

What we will do

The meeting point is at theJFK airfield in Dovera, it is important to arrive at least a quarter of an hour before the appointment time in order to complete the registration process.

At the appointed time, an instructor will accompany you to the flight line, where a briefing will be given in front of an aircraft. During this phase, you will be introduced to the basic principles of flying, how the controls work, the functions of the instruments on board, safety measures, what you will feel and what you will do after taking off.

Immediately after take-off you will climb to a safe altitude and experience the effects of the aircraft's controls on the aircraft itself and, more importantly, on you.

The instructor will illustrate the manoeuvres that, step by step, you will perform on your own and that will allow you to climb the Adda Park making turns in all directions; you will enjoy a fantastic landscape from the cockpit of an aircraft, with the thrill of being at the controls!

At the end, the instructor will show you the way back and, explaining the procedures, will carry out the landing.

Who it is aimed at

The activity requires no experience of any kind and the minimum age is 16 years. The maximum weight of participants is 110 kg and the maximum height is 195 cm.

Attention! Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.

The activity can be booked all year round, on the dates indicated in the calendar, with the exception of August.
