You know when you were a child and you ran with your arms wide open pretending to fly? At Dovera your dreams come true!
After an introductory briefing , you will take the controls of an aircraft with dual controls for 30 minutes: from taxiing to turning over the Lombardy landscapes, you will be piloting (but with an instructor at your side! ).
This experience is valid as the first lesson of the flight course for the V. D. S. certificate; those who decide to enrol in the flight course will be given the lesson as the first lesson of the course. Not bad, is it?
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before the indicated time in Dovera (CR), where staff will welcome us for registration.
At the prearranged time, an instructor will accompany you to the flight line, where an approximately 30-minute briefing will be given in front of an aircraft. During this phase, you will be introduced to the basic principles of flying, how the controls work, the functions of the instruments on board, safety measures, what you will feel and what you will do after taking off.
Immediately after take-off you will climb to a safe altitude and experience the effects of the aircraft's controls on the aircraft itself and, more importantly, on you.
The instructor will illustrate the manoeuvres that, step by step, you will carry out on your own and that will allow you to climb the Adda Park making turns in all directions; you will enjoy a fantastic landscape from the cockpit of an aircraft, with the thrill of being at the controls!
The flight will last about 30 minutes. The instructor will show you the way back and, explaining the procedures, will perform the landing. The activity will last a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity requires no experience of any kind and the minimum age is 16 years.
The maximum weight of participants is 110 kg and the maximum height is 195 cm.
Other information
Attention. There are two mandatory briefings each day, at 10: 00 and 14: 00. When booking, you can choose when to fly, but you must arrive at the camp at the selected briefing time. Attendance at the briefing is essential in order to take part in the activity.
The activity can be booked all year round, on the dates indicated in the calendar, except for the month of August.
At the end of the activity, the pilot will send you free photos of your experience.
Any accompanying persons may enter the airfield and attend the briefing and take-off. There is a bar and toilets on site. Dogs on leashes are permitted.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
