Get to know alpacas in Sicily! In Scicli, in the province of Ragusa, a full immersion in softness awaits you.
Meet Domenico, Maya, Nazca, Inca and many other alpacas from the breeding farm, together with a guide ready to satisfy all your curiosities about these animals.
During the visit, you will also discover the processes involved in processing wool and how it is transformed into warm, soft clothing. What are you waiting for?
What we will do
The meeting is in Scicli (RG), where we will meet the guide who will accompany us on this educational experience on the world of alpacas.
We will set off on a guided tour inside thefarm, walking along an avenue surrounded by fenced fields. And it is here that we will meet Domenico, Marte, Maya, Inca, Nazca, Lima, Arequipa and other sweet alpacas that have made their home here.
During the visit, which will last about an hour, the guide will tell us many interesting facts about these animals of South American origin, the differences with other camelids and breeding techniques.
For the second part of the activity, we will move to a late 19th-century farmhouse attached to the property and nestled among centuries-old ficus trees, where we will attend a workshop on alpaca fibre processing. Dulcis in fundo, at the end of this experience we will be able to take a soft gadget home with us!
The total duration of the activity will be about one and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.
Children and young people up to 15 years of age can participate free of charge, accompanied by an adult participant.
The route is accessible with wheelchairs and pushchairs.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round (except July and August) at weekends, and is confirmed with a minimum of three people.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; free parking is available on site.
Dogs are not allowed.

If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
