Have you ever had a date with... an alpaca?
That's exactly what awaits you by participating in our picnic with alpacas in the province of Modena: you will meet these friendly specimens and eat in their company, savouring local products in a splendid natural setting.
A 2-hour experience of taste (and pampering)!
What we will do
The meeting point is 10 minutes before 10 a.m. at the meeting point in Serramazzoni (MO). Waiting for us will be the organiser of the experience, ready to welcome us.
Having gathered all the participants, we will get to know the alpacas: Lilo, Berto and Cocomero are just some of the specimens we will meet! We will be able to interact directly with the animals by stroking them, feeding them and taking nice souvenir photos. The organiser will not fail to tell anecdotes and interesting facts about alpacas. This first moment will last about 1 hour.
We will then sit down at a table or on a cloth for a picnic based on products from local farms: the contents generally include 1 starter, 1 main course and 1 dessert; accompanying water and 1 glass of wine or beer. We will eat lunch in a beautiful natural setting, in the shade of a centuries-old oak tree and with a panoramic view of Mount Cimone. Our alpaca friends will remain in our company and continue to graze between the tables!
The experience will last about 2 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0 to 3 years participate in the experience free of charge by bringing their own food from home: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate the presence of infants.
The experience is accessible to people with motor and non-motor disabilities.

The experience takes place from May to October.

The children's menu generally includes 1 pasta dish, 1 pizza or stuffed focaccia and 1 dessert.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
