We are undecided which is the highlight of this experience. The alpaca walk or the home-cooked picnic?
We're sending you on a mission to find out: take part in our 1-hour walk with alpacas through the wine-growing landscape of the Langhe, in the company of a guide and his fluffy animals.
On your return to the estate, you can spend more time with the other inhabitants of the farm and conclude the experience by enjoying a picnic with local products!
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Lequio Tanaro (CN), in a characteristic 18th century estate. We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on this soft adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, a 30-minuteintroduction to the world of alpacas will take place, during which we will get to know our sweet companions better.
This is when our alpaca walk will begin: we will venture into the woods adjacent to the estate, along a gently sloping hillside path with a panoramic view of the Langhe UNESCO World Heritage Site. After walking about 3 km, we will return to the estate where the other animals that live there will be waiting for us: the guide will introduce us to horses, goats and the characteristic black Piedmontese pigs.
We will then be given a picnic basket (included) that we can eat on the estate or in the nearby natural setting. The menu includes salami and lard from Piedmontese black pigs reared on the family farm, omelette with herbs, anchovies and butter, bread, water and a bottle of natural wine for every 2 people (can be replaced with beer or fruit juice per person).
The alpaca walk will last 1 hour. The total experience will last approx. 3 hours, but we will be able to stay as long as we wish, as if we were at home!
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 do not need to be accompanied by an adult. Children from 0 to 6 years of age participate in the walk free of charge by contacting the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail.
The experience is suitable for people in wheelchairs and/or prams; the experience is suitable for pregnant women; the experience is suitable for people with disabilities. Contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to report your presence and request the experience to be carried out on a paved road (always with a panoramic view of the Langhe).

The experience takes place from March to October.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
The guide has 4 alpacas for a maximum number of 4 participants and 6 accompanying persons.
When booking, it will be possible to select the number of participants (people taking part in the walk and leading the alpaca) and/or accompanying persons (people taking part in the walk but not leading the alpaca); each accompanying person booking must be matched by at least one booking per participant.
Any accompanying persons not taking part in the walk can wait on the estate where there is a refreshment point and can take part in the picnic only at a cost of €30.00, by contacting us to proceed with the booking. Leashed dogs are allowed on the estate.
