Is tenerina cake sweeter or an alpaca?
You will be the one to tell by taking part in our alpaca walk and lunch in the province of Ferrara: in the company of a guide and his friendly animals, you will walk through nature among apple orchards, walnut groves, and lots of cuddles.
A 3-hour experience, ending with a lunch with an authentic Emilian flavour!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Bondeno (FE). On site, we will meet the guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin with a brief presentation of the alpaca: what an animal it is, how it behaves, how to approach it, and all the information needed to enjoy this experience without worries. We will then get to know our (very soft) companions: Romino, Cosmo, Kuka, Fantasy, Franz, Nils, Butch and Cristal!
Once we have put the halter on the assigned alpaca, we will be ready for our alpaca walk. We will wander around the estate, crossing land dotted with apple and walnut trees, a speciality of this area. The walk with alpacas lasts about 1½ hours, with a total of about 2 km covered.
We will then return to the meeting point, attracted by an inviting smell: that of our Emilian lunch! The menu includes an appetiser, first course, second course and dessert; water included. We will taste local products and traditional recipes such as cappellacci al ragù, sausage and torta tenerina, depending on the season and availability of the day.
The experience lasts a total of about 3 hours.
The package also includes the entrance ticket to the estate's park: we will therefore be able to stay longer and visit the cheerful farm independently.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 4 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be in the company of an adult participant.
The experience is suitable for people with mobility problems: the alpaca walk takes place on level ground and in fields without high grass; the only obstacle may be the gravel part of the route.
Other information
Attention! Each 'accompanying person' booking must be matched by at least one 'participant' booking; accompanying persons without participants will not be allowed to take part in the experience. A maximum of 1 accompanying person is permitted per participant. Participant and accompanying person share the leading of the alpaca.
The experience takes place all year round from Friday to Sunday and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
The 'Children's' rate includes a reduced lunch menu compared to the 'Participant' and 'Companion' rates.
Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: please contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate any dietary requirements.
Leashed dogs are allowed and may participate in the walk if they are used to the company of other animals and kept at an appropriate distance.
There is a shop on site where you can buy handmade souvenirs made of alpaca wool.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
