Do you remember the most beautiful starry sky you have ever seen? The one you will admire during this experience will be even better!
Set off from Valdidentro, in the province of Sondrio, for a 1.5-hour walk with alpacas under the stars. Be enchanted by the gentleness of these animals and the snowy landscape around you and experience unique moments.
Finally, enjoy a hot chocolate or a delicious mulled wine!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Valdidentro (SO), where our guide will be waiting for us.
Once we have put on our head torch, we will have a briefing of about 10 minutes to learn how to handle alpacas during the activity, and we will discover a few curiosities about these cute animals, including their names!
Once the introductions are over, we will start the walk in the company of Medicus, Gaviano, Fred, Caras, Nich and all the other four-legged friends. We will walk alongside them along a route that will alternate between snowy and non-snowy stretches and, from time to time, we will look up at the sky to admire the wonderful expanse of stars above us.
Halfway along, we make a brief but necessary stop to take a few souvenir photos and cuddle the alpacas some more. The gentleness of these animals will add to the beauty of the starlit sky and make this a unique experience!
At the end of the walk, which will end at the starting point after about 3-4 km and will last a total of 1.5 hours, we will refresh ourselves with a drink of your choice (included), such as a delicious mulled wine or a fragrant hot chocolate.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 3. Children under 13 can only participate if accompanied by an adult. From the age of 14 , it is possible to participate on one's own, subject to the signing of a release form by a responsible adult.
The activity is not suitable for people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity is available every weekend from December to March and will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 8 participants.
At the end of the walk, there will be a drink of your choice (included), including hot chocolate and mulled wine.
Dogs are allowed.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and free parking spaces are available nearby.
