Where to have the most exclusive aperitif on Lake Como? The answer is only one: on board the catamaran Maru!
No crowded places, no tourists: just you, your friends (or the company you prefer) and the crew on board ready to spoil you with a rich platter of delicacies and a drink to enjoy while admiring the most exclusive corners of the Lario!
An exclusive 4-hour experience, perfect to greet the sun disappearing over the horizon with a toast!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Varenna (LC) . Awaiting you will be the skipper who will welcome you on the sailing catamaran Maru, a unique wooden boat.
You will start the navigation heading towards the most picturesque villages in the centre of the lake. As this is a private tour, you will be able to agree the route with the captain: you can sail to the tip of Bellagio or skirt the most famous villas in the area. If the season permits and you are in the mood for a refreshing dip before sunset, you will stop for a swim at one of the small beaches that can only be reached by water.
As the light begins to soften, the on-board chef will prepare a rich aperitif. You will be served a board consisting of a selection of mixed products: local cold cuts, pizzas, fragrant focaccine and hot Ascoli olives, all accompanied by a drink of your choice to toast in total relaxation.
It will be an intimate experience, like an evening spent on a boat with friends, lulled by the gentle movement of the waves.
The tour will end with a return to the initial meeting point. The activity will last about 4 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is intended for private groups wishing to hire the catamaran exclusively.
The activity is recommended from 8 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible, but can accommodate passengers with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity takes place from May until October and is confirmed with a minimum number of 2 participants. The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is a wooden sailing catamaran, 9 m long and equipped with a kitchen, toilet and central table. On board, one stays without shoes.
In the event of allergies, intolerances or dietary restrictions, please inform the organisers in advance at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to arrange a special menu.
Dogs are welcome on board, subject to prior notification.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
