Full description
Treat yourself to a sunset aperitif aboard a dinghy in the magical setting of Marsala's Stagnone Lagoon!
You will discover a very characteristic place, transformed into a Nature Reserve in 1984. You will take a dip in the water of the lagoon, while the pink of the salt pools harmonises with the colours of the sky, for a dreamlike scenario.
After your swim, you will return on board for anaperitif of local wine and snacks. It will be an evening you won't forget!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before 18:30 at the meeting point in Marsala (TP), where the dinghy on which we will set sail for our sunset aperitif is moored!
Once settled on board, we will set off in the direction of the Stagnone Lagoon, where we will arrive after about 20 minutes of sailing. This is a truly magical place, which became a Nature Reserve in 1984.
We will discover a lagoon of 2,000 hectares with salt pans characterised by water tinged with pink. There are four islands in the lagoon: the Isola Grande or Isola lunga, the Isola di Mothia, the Isola di Santa Maria and the Schola.
The water in these areas is very shallow and particularly saline, enhanced by unique sea beds. It is worth donning a mask and snorkel to snorkel at sunset or simply dive in for a swim!
After the swim, we return to the dinghy for our aperitif (included) with pizzas, chips, peanuts and a glass of white wine, relaxing with music on board. Once the aperitif is over, we will reverse course to return to our point of departure.
We will return to the port of Marsala at 21:00, after a 2½-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children aged 0 to 3 are free of charge; please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence.
Participation by pregnant women and persons with reduced mobility is not recommended.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 6 participants.
It is advisable to arrive well in advance in order to find parking within the Tourist Port area.
Theboat is an 8-metre dinghy equipped with all the comforts for a pleasant experience: there is an awning and a freshwater shower, as well as all safety devices. Dogs are not allowed on board.
Theitinerary is subject to change according to weather and sea conditions at the skipper's discretion.
