Yes, in Marano Ticino we have found a place where little goats say 'Hi' to you! But that's not all: you can stroke them, see where they live and discover some of the daily activities of a farmer by taking part in an educational farm visit.
A 3-hour experience that will end with a special Apericapra: a rich buffet with goat's cheese and local products to keep young and old happy!
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Marano Ticino (NO) . We will find our guide waiting for us, a young dairyman and farmer, ready to welcome us to his farm!
Having gathered all the participants, the experience will begin with an educational visit: we will enter the cowshed, watch the goats being milked, and that's not all: we will also meet the other farm animals, including hens and ducks. Depending on the season, we will be able to feed them, collect eggs together with the guide, or enter the vegetable garden to plant and harvest some vegetables or aromatic plants.
At the end of the educational tour, we will take off our farmer's clothes to devote ourselves to our favourite activity: eating! Under an open-air canopy, we will find a rich buffet of goat's cheese, cold meats, savoury pies and cold dishes, as well as wine, soft drinks and water.
It will be a moment of pure conviviality to taste local zero-kilometre products and enjoy a few hours in company.
The experience will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participating in the experience. Children aged 0 to 4 years participate free of charge: contact the organisers at the contact details on your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence.
The facility is wheelchair accessible. Persons with disabilities are invited to purchase the reduced "Children" rate; accompanying persons of persons with disabilities are invited to purchase the rate associated with their age group. What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
