Are you really sure you want to go for yet another aperitif in the city centre this weekend? No, because we’ve got a much more tempting suggestion here.
Same concept, but with a little something extra: instead of a cocktail, a tasting of three wines, and instead of the usual nibbles, a delicious platter of Monferrato specialities.
Ah, we almost forgot! The venue? A wine cellar nestled amongst the vineyards of Alto Monferrato. Need we say more?
What we will do
The event will take place at 6. 00 pm at the Chielisò Winery in Gavonata, a hamlet of Cassine (AL), set against the stunning backdrop of the Alto Monferrato hills.
You will be welcomed by the winery’s owners, heirs to a family winemaking tradition dating back to the early 1900s.
Depending on the season, you will be seated in the tasting room or in the estate’s outdoor areas, both offering panoramic views of the vineyards that cover the region’s hills.
You will be served three glasses of wine at your table, chosen from a selection of no fewer than seven labels produced on the estate, including Barbera, Dolcetto d’Acqui, Monferrato Freisa, Cortese dell’Alto Monferrato, Moscato Bianco and Syrah.
The glasses of wine will be accompanied by local specialities such as cheeses, cured meats, and baked goods, to make the experience even more delicious!
The experience will last approximately 1 hour in total .
Who it is aimed at
This experience is recommended for those aged 18 and over, as the wine tasting is restricted to adults only.
Any accompanying minors may take part in the activity on request at a cost of €10. 00, which includes the services of a youth worker and a special snack, or they may enjoy local produce without taking part in the wine tasting.
The venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

The experience takes place all year round, except in September, and is confirmed subject to a minimum of two people.

Dogs are allowed on the tour.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
