Full description
In Olbia , the past is not to be leafed through in books, it is to be traversed on three wheels!
Climb aboard a tuk tuk and let yourself be carried away on a journey through time among the city's archaeological wonders, letting yourself be enchanted by the explanations of theaudio guide.
In 2½ hours, you will visit medieval castles, nuragic tombs and ancient Romanesque monuments... all without ever having to look for parking!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Olbia (SS). Our driver will be waiting for us to welcome us on board the tuk tuk!
Once the other participants have gathered, we will be ready to set off on anadventure among the archaeological wonders of the city.
We will pass through the old town and the lively Queen Margaret Square, immersing ourselves in the local atmosphere. We will continue along the waterfront, enjoying the sea breeze and the view of moored boats.
Our first stop will be at theRoman Aqueduct, an engineering masterpiece that supplied the city with water two thousand years ago. After a short break of 10 minutes, we will depart towards the Pozzo Sacro 'Sa Testa' (Sacred Well), evidence of the profound Nuragic spirituality linked to the cult of water.
Back in town, we will stop for another 10 minutes or so at the Basilica di San Simplicio, a Romanesque granite jewel that tells centuries of religious and architectural history.
Leaving Olbia, we will head towards Loiri, enjoying the panorama of hills and Mediterranean scrub. Our next stop will be at Pedres Castle, a medieval fortress offering a breathtaking view of Gallura, where we will stop for 25 minutes.
Our last stop will be the Tombs of the Giants 'Su Mont'e e S'Abe', a mysterious Nuragic burial site that will take us further back in time. We will have 10 minutes to explore these impressive tombs and be fascinated by tales of ancient Sardinian beliefs.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The experience will last about two and a half hours in total .

The experience is suitable for everyone aged 2 years and over. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

When booking, you can choose whether to take the tour on board a tuk tuk or a minivan.
Free and/or paid parking spaces are available on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
