How many people can say they have flown in an autogyro?
You can, if you take part in our flight baptism: in the company of a professional pilot, you will fly for about 30 minutes aboard this peculiar (and nice) aircraft. And yes, you can even try to fly the gyrocopter yourself thanks to the dual controls!
An experience lasting 1 hour in total, over Viareggio and its surroundings.
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Massarosa (LU), less than 10 minutes' drive from Viareggio. Welcoming you at the airfield will be me, your pilot!
On your arrival, I will introduce you to my flight school and accompany you to the vehicle, whose operating principles I will explain to you, as well as all the information you need to enjoy this experience without any worries. This is an autogyro model MAGNI gyro, a special aircraft that uses the two systems of a helicopter and an aeroplane to fly.
It will then be time to get on board: the aircraft has a pilot seat and a passenger seat, the latter positioned behind the former; we will be able to communicate thanks to the helmet with intercom provided. Once we take off, we will fly for about 30 minutes over the airfield and will be able to venture out to the sea , which is only a few kilometres away. At your discretion, we will be able to practise accentuated manoeuvres and yes, thanks to the dual controls, you will also be able to try piloting the gyrocopter!
We will finally land at the meeting point. The experience will last a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 12 and up; children under 18 do not need to be accompanied by an adult.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight is 100 kg.
To participate in this activity themaximum height is 2 m.
The aircraft is wheelchair-accessible: please contact the pilot at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to report the presence of a participant with reduced mobility and request support.

Dogs are allowed at the flying field as long as they are kept on a leash.
