Baptism of flight - Pilot test on ultralight in the Langhe

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to glide over the beautiful Langhe? Let yourself be tempted by our Baptism of Flight in the province of Cuneo!

Imagine boarding a state-of-the-art two-seater ultralight and taking off together with the pilot to admire the vineyards, the small Langhe villages, and catch a glimpse of the Sacra di San Michele in the distance.

During the one-hour flight, you can even take the controls and experience thethrill of piloting the plane!

And then the thrill of landing softly on the runway and receiving yourbaptism of flight certificate.

So, are you with us?

What we will do

We will meet at the airfield in Tagliata, in the province of Cuneo, at the time selected during the booking process. You can easily reach us either by your own means or by public transport.

As soon as you arrive, I, your commander, will welcome you. Before we take off, I will introduce you for about 15 to 30 minutes to this incredible flight baptism experience, and together we will board one of the four ultralights available(Tecnam Sierra P2002, one Skyleader and two Tecnam P-92s).

And then... we take off! We will fly through the skies over the Langhe for 60 adrenaline-filled minutes. Each aircraft has dual controls and we too will be able to take the wheel of the plane and experience thethrill of piloting the ultralight!

We can head for the famous Langhe or try to get close to the Sacra di San Michele, a splendid abbey perched on the summit of Mount Pirchiriano.

When it is time to land, you will feel the pure adrenaline of contact with the runway. And once on the ground, I will have the pleasure of handing you a parchment signed by me and bearing the school's stamp, as a testimony to your unforgettable Baptism of Flight.

Between briefing, preparation and flight, the activity lasts a total of approximately one and a half hours.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for all healthy people aged 14 years and over. If still under age, parental permission will be required.

Accompanying persons are welcome at the airfield: an area is available for them where they can wait while enjoying a coffee.

Other information

The flight can be made every day of the year (including holidays) with the exception of Christmas.

The ultralights available are a Tecnam Sierra P2002, a Skyleader and two Tecnam P-92s. The aircraft have two seats, one for you and one for the pilot. It is therefore anindividual activity.

During the experience you can take videos or photographs with your smartphone or GoPro to film the experience.
