Off the coast of Sicily there is a pearl to discover: welcome to Marettimo!
Experience your sea baptism and dive into the crystal-clear water of the Egadi Islands in the company of an experienced instructor.
An unforgettable experience lasting 7½ hours that will let you explore the sea... to the depths!
What we will do
The meeting will take place at the meeting point in Marettimo (TP), 10 minutes before the time selected during the booking process. Awaiting us will be theinstructor who will guide us through the experience.
After a moment dedicated to briefing, dressing and handing over thecomplete equipment, we will depart by boat to the best diving spots on the island. The first dive will take place at one of the wonderful underwater sites around the island of Marettimo, where we will have the opportunity to observe the rich marine fauna.
The dive will last approximately 25-30 minutes and will take us down to a depth of 6 metres. We will have one instructor for every two participants and will be able to admire numerous species of fish, such as soles, amberjacks, groupers, urchins and starfish that inhabit the rocky seabed.
After the first dive, we will head to a sheltered bay, where we will have time to relax and sunbathe. For lunch, we will enjoy a well-deserved break during which we will be served an appetiser, a starter, fruit and coffee. Finally, when we are ready, it will be time for a second dip in another beautiful corner of Marettimo.
At the end of the day, we will return to our starting point. The experience will last about 7½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 10; no previous diving experience is required. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
In order to participate in the activity, good aquatic skills and the ability to swim are required.
The activity is not suitable for people suffering from asthma or heart problems.
Other information
The activity is available from March to November.
The boat is a 15-metre long motor boat with a Cummins 190hp engine, complete with all equipment.
There is a sheltered area on board the boat where you can store any personal belongings.
