Full description
Where better to practice your first sc uba dive than near Taranto, known as the'city of two seas'!
And indeed, our'sea baptism' experience takes place precisely in Talsano: here you will participate in a theory lesson on land followed by a first individual dive in the company of a dedicated diving instructor.
The dive willlast 45 minutes, at the end of which you will receive your certificate!
What we will do
The appointment is at 09:00 at the meeting point in Talsano (TA). We will be welcomed by thediving instructor who will accompany us on this adventure!
Once all participants have gathered, a collective briefing will take place at the venue , during which the use of the equipment and the behaviour to adopt underwater will be explained. This will be followed by the handover and testing of theequipment; this first moment will last about 1 hour.
And here we are ready to enter the water from land, accessing it from a small jetty located on Porto Cupo Beach. Our first dive will take place individually in the company of a dedicated diving instructor , who will guide us safely to a maximum depth of 5 metres. Down here you might happen to spot octopuses, cuttlefish, amberjacks and other fish that inhabit the Mediterranean! Dive time will be 45 minutes and can be spent doing one or more dives depending on your preference.
We will then return to the meeting point to hand out acertificate of participation. The experience will last a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 8 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the meeting point by an adult.
The activity is prohibited for persons suffering from heart disease, respiratory illnesses and ear problems.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable for first-time divers. No licence is required to participate in the activity.
Other information
Attention! Light meals are recommended from the day before the experience takes place.
The experience takes place from June to September.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
The duration of the experience may vary depending on the number of participants.
During the activity, digital photos and videos will be taken and shared with participants via phone number or e-mail address.
