A sea baptism with a day boat trip included. Don't believe it? Yet in Favignana, it works just like that!
Set sail aboard the Pegasus boat and get ready for your first dive in the company of a diving instructor. You will spend 30 minutes underwater, diving down to a depth of 6 metres to admire the seabed teeming with life on the Egadi Islands.
The rest of the day, you can spend it on board relaxing or snorkelling!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 08:30 at the meeting point in Favignana (TP). Awaiting us will be thedive instructor ready to welcome us on board the boat on which we will spend this day!
Once all participants have gathered, we will set sail to reach our dive site, chosen according to the weather and sea conditions of the day. On the way, we will listen to a technical briefing and receive ourequipment.
For our sea baptism, a closed bay sheltered from the current will be chosen, where we will be able to carry out our first dive in peace and safety.
Once we reach the chosen site, we will be ready to venture underwater: one at a time and accompanied by the instructor, we will dive to a depth of 6 metres. We will thus have the opportunity to admire various species of soft corals, sea daisies, octopuses, starfish and - in the most exceptional cases - even barracuda!
Thedive will last about30 minutes and once we have surfaced, we can spend the rest of the day relaxing in the boat or snorkelling during the other stages of the excursion.
We will finally return to the starting point at around 15:30, for a total excursion duration of 7 hours .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 10; children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult on board, while children under the age of 18 only need a signed waiver.
Swimming skills are required to participate in the activity.
The experience is forbidden for pregnant women and people suffering from pneumological problems, asthma and epilepsy.
The activity is suitable for first-time divers and no licence is required to participate.

The experience takes place from April to October.
Attention! The duration of the activity may vary depending on the number of participants.
Important! Don't forget to bring your own packed lunch on board.
There is free and/or paid parking on site. The meeting point is easily reached from the ports of Trapani and Marsala thanks to the daily hydrofoil service.
Theboat that will host the experience is the 10-metre long and 3.5-metre wide diving-boat Pegasus with two 200 hp turbo engines, an electric generator for USB recharging, a large aft cockpit with comfortable benches, a solarium, a cabin, a fridge and a marine toilet with shower.
Any accompanying persons may participate by selecting the entry "Accompanying persons" and they will be provided with mask, fins and snorkelling gear (depending on the season).
Scuba diving 24 hours prior to a flight is not recommended.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
