Breathing underwater without gills? In Sciacca, you can!
An adventure awaits you to turn yourself into a sea explorer for a day, discovering that the underwater world is much more hospitable than you imagine.
You will take part in a Discover Scuba Diving, the perfect sea baptism for those who have never worn a wetsuit. Together with a PADI instructor, you will explore the seabed for about 30 minutes, observing the marine life that populates the Sicilian coastline!
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the meeting point in Sciacca (AG) . Awaiting us will be a PADI instructor who will accompany us on our diving excursion on the beautiful Sovareto Beach.
We will begin with a theoretical briefing session of about 30 minutes, during which we will learn the safety rules and how the equipment works. Once we are ready, we will get dressed and familiarise ourselves with the regulator. There will be no need to board the boat: our adventure will begin directly from the beach, gradually immersing us in the blue.
Always under the supervision and company of the instructor, we will fin in groups, closely observing the small creatures that inhabit this stretch of coastline down to a maximum depth of 7 metres. The dive will last between 20 and 30 minutes.
At the end, we will return to shore for the final ascent onto the sand. The experience will last a total of about 1 hour and 30 minutes .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 10 and up; minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult to handle the necessary documentation. Good aquatic skills are required to participate in the activity.
The experience is forbidden for pregnant women and people suffering from pulmonary problems, asthma and epilepsy.
A patent is not required to participate. The activity is aimed at those who wish to approach scuba diving for the first time and learn the safety rules, use of equipment and basic shallow water skills.
Other information
The experience runs from June to September and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants.
There are no changing rooms on site, so we suggest you arrive with your swimming costume already on under your clothes.
Any accompanying persons can wait for the group to return by relaxing at the equipped beach where the dive takes place.
It is not recommended to dive 24 hours before a flight.
There is parking for your car on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
