Pilot for a day? You can by taking part in our flight baptism!
In the company of a professional pilot, you will board a powered hang-glider and fly for 1 hour above the province of Lucca. You will experience the thrill of approaching the Julian Alps and admire the Carrara Marble Quarries from above.
And yes, thanks to the dual control you will be able to try to pilot the aircraft!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you at the selected time at the meeting point in Massarosa (LU), less than 10 minutes' drive from Viareggio. Welcoming you at the airfield will be me, your pilot!
Upon your arrival, I will introduce you to my flight school and accompany you to the aircraft, whose operating principles and all useful information for our flight I will explain. The aircraft is a powered hang glider model Air Creation Clipper GTE 912, equipped with a pilot's seat and a passenger seat positioned behind the first; we will be able to communicate thanks to the helmet with intercom.
We will then climb aboard and prepare for take-off: we will fly for about 1 hour over the province of Lucca, as far as the Julian Alps and the Carrara Marble Quarries. At your discretion, we will be able to practise accentuated turns and, thanks to the dual control, you will also be able to try piloting the powered hang glider!
We will finally land at the meeting point. The experience will last 1½ hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 12 and up; children under 18 do not need to be accompanied by an adult.
To participate in this activity, the maximum weight is 100 kg.
To participate in this activity themaximum height is 2 m.
The aircraft is wheelchair-accessible: please contact the pilot at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to report the presence of a participant with reduced mobility and request support.

The experience takes place from March to December subject to weather conditions at the pilot's discretion.
There is free parking on site.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the airfield with a vending machine available.
Dogs are allowed at the flying field as long as they are kept on a leash.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
