Full description
There is a precise moment when the world stops: it is when you hold your breath, dive and take your first breath underwater.
If you are ready to experience it, get ready to do so in the heart of thePunta Campanella Protected Marine Area, in a seabed rich in biodiversity straddling the Sorrento and Amalfi Coasts.
A40-minute dive, an introductory lesson , the constant support of an instructor , and an inflatable boat that will take you to where the sea holds its secrets: this is what awaits you during your sea baptism!
What we will do
The appointment is at 14:30 at the diving centre in Massa Lubrense (NA). We will be welcomed by thediving instructor who will accompany us during our sea baptism!
The activity will begin with a theoretical lesson lasting about 30 minutes, in which we will be explained the use of the equipment and the signals for communicating underwater.
Afterwards, we will walk to the pier, only 200 metres away. Here we will embark on a 7.20-metre rubber dinghy and reach one of the most beautiful sites in thePunta Campanella Marine Protected Area, the Bay of Ieranto.
Once at the dive site, we will descend to a maximum depth of 12 metres in the company of the instructor in small groups of up to 2 people. The dive will last about 40 minutes, during which we will discover a marine environment composed of transparent seabeds and a surprising Mediterranean biodiversity, including Posidonia oceanica, bream, anchovies, groupers and octopuses.
Once the experience is over, we will return on board for a regenerating snack, before returning to the diving centre around 17:30. The activity will last about three hours in total .
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 10 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed release form.
A medical certificate is required in case of pulmonary problems, heart problems, epilepsy and diabetes.
The activity is suitable for first-time divers and no licence is required to participate.
Other information
The experience takes place from April to November.
It is not recommended to dive 24 hours before a flight.
There are outdoor showers and toilets on site, however, there are no changing rooms, so it is advisable to arrive with your swimming costume already on. Any personal items may be stored in a secure common storage room.
Any accompanying persons may wait at the meeting point.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
