Discover the underwater world of Marsala with our Baptism of the Sea and enjoy an extraordinary experience in the clear waters of the Sicilian coastline.
With an instructor by your side, you will dive to a depth of 5 metres for 30-40 minutes amidst damselfish, bream, and the marvellous shoals of posidonia.

What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes earlier at the diving centre in Marsala (TP), where the instructors will welcome you. After the necessary paperwork, we will begin with an introductory briefing: you will be given the basics on diving and details onequipment, to make you feel safe and comfortable during the experience.
At around 9 a.m. we will board the dinghy and begin the short trip along the Marsala coastline. Once we reach the dive site, we will prepare to enter the water!
The 30-40 minute dive will take place at a maximum depth of 5 metres, perfect for a first contact with the underwater world. During the dive, you will be able to observe a variety of marine species, such as damselfish and bream, and be fascinated by the green underwater meadows of posidonia that decorate the seabed.
At the end of the experience in the water, we will return to the starting point where we will conclude with a debriefing to share the emotions of the dive and receive our Baptism of the Sea certificates.
The activity lasts a total of about 3½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone aged 8 years and above. Children under the age of 18 may participate if a parent or responsible adult signs a release form on site.
Itis not necessary to know how to swim to be able to participate, it is sufficient to be in good health and not have cardiovascular or other disabling diseases.
Other information
The activity can be booked from March to November and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Up to 8 participants can dive in the water at a time, with a 2-to-1 ratio with the instructor.
Accompanying persons will board the raft together with the other participants. To participate as an accompanying person, please select the corresponding option in the booking box.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; there is ample free parking on site.
