Who is the'King of Wines'?
It could be you, but the reality is that it is Barolo, the iconic red wine of Piedmont. You will have the honour of tasting several (and unique) vintages by participating in our vertical tasting in Monforte d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe.
A1.5-hour experience, enriched by a guided tour of the winery.
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the Castello di Perno Winery in Castelletto, in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba (CN). We will be welcomed by the guide who will accompany us on an exploration of this wine-growing reality in the heart of the Langhe.
Once all the participants have gathered, the visit to the winery can begin: we will discover the production by walking through the winemaking rooms and the barrel cellar, with the guide's descriptions in the background. This will last 30 minutes.
We will then enter the tasting room, which, depending on the time of year, will be a panoramic room or terrace overlooking the vineyards, the Castle of Serralunga d'Alba, Monforte d'Alba and the hills of the Langhe. The tasting will include 4 glasses of different vintages of Barolo DOCG, the territory's most representative red wine; all accompanied by breadsticks.
The experience will last a total of 1.5 hours, at the end of which we will be able to walk independently among the rows of vines surrounding the winery.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over.
Wine tasting is reserved for participants over 18 years of age only. Accompanying minors, astemics and pregnant women participate free of charge.
The facility is wheelchair accessible.

Attention! The meeting point is at the Perno Castle Winery, not at Perno Castle, which is 6 km away and will not be visited during the experience.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 4 participants is reached.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Small dogs are allowed on the premises.
